Samhain Celebration, Nov. 5, 2011 The evening was cool and crisp and the company was lively and warm! Our ritual was so exquisite and I’m so proud of how far the beautiful and talented my Gaia Priestess Drummers have come!
Gaia Priestess Drummers The all-women drumming group was formed in 2010 by Kris Oster to participate in Gaia Festival’s closing ritual, but will continue way beyond that!
Revisiting Gaia Festival 2008 In 2008, Gaia Festival speaker Margaret Starbird presented her thought-provoking and heart-opening scholarship about Mary Magdalene.
Gaia Festival Creatrixes Stephanie Hamberger started Gaia Festival in Buffalo, NY in 2006. Steph and Kris have been Soul Sisters since they first met in 2002 while attending the Glastonbury Goddess Conference.
Honoring The Mothers We honor and celebrate our Mothers by creating beautiful community altars, and this year we’ll do our festival ceremony at the beach.
Enter the Labyrinth Bask in the ambience of the Triple Goddess labyrinth painted by artist and Gaia Festival Board member Tyr Jung.

Gaia Priestess Drummers

The Gaia Priestess Drummers are currently 4 members of the Gaia Festival community who meet in circle to practice ritual and sacred drumming using mostly frame drums. The all-women drumming group was formed in 2010 by Kris Oster to participate in Gaia Festival’s closing ritual, but will continue way beyond that!
